Your information

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how LeadAI handles personal data when you visit our website, contact us, use our services or connect a third-party account to a LeadAI application.

Effective date: 12 September 2026

1. Who we are

LeadAI provides AI governance consultancy, AI Management System (AIMS) services and related software. LeadAI is the controller of personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at contact@leadai.world.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact and business information, such as your name, work email, organisation, job title and the content of your enquiry.
  • Service information, including project details, assessment responses, governance evidence and communications you choose to provide.
  • Technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps and security or diagnostic logs.
  • Connected-account information. If you authorise an integration such as Pinterest, we may receive identifiers, profile or board information, access tokens and the permissions you approve. We do not receive your third-party password.
  • Content you ask us to process, such as images, pin titles, descriptions, alt text, links and associated metadata.

We collect information directly from you, automatically through our services, or from a third-party platform when you grant access.

3. How we use information

We use personal data to:

  • respond to enquiries and provide requested consultancy or software services;
  • operate, maintain, secure and improve our website and applications;
  • connect authorised third-party accounts and perform actions you request, such as preparing or publishing content;
  • manage contracts, billing, records and customer support;
  • detect misuse, investigate incidents and comply with legal obligations; and
  • send relevant business communications where permitted. You may opt out of marketing at any time.
A connected account is used only within the permissions you grant. You can withdraw access through the relevant platform or by contacting us.

5. Sharing and international transfers

We may share data with vetted providers that support hosting, analytics, communications, security and professional services, under appropriate contractual protections. When you connect or use a third-party platform, information is also handled under that platform’s own privacy terms. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect rights or security, or as part of a business reorganisation.

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where required, we use recognised safeguards such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual clauses.

We do not sell personal data.

6. How long we keep information

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose collected, including service delivery, security, legal, tax and accounting requirements. Retention depends on the type of data and our relationship with you. Connected-account tokens are retained only while needed to provide the authorised integration and are deleted or made unusable when the connection is revoked, subject to limited backup and legal retention periods.

7. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to access, correct, erase or restrict your personal data; object to certain processing; receive portable data; and withdraw consent. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. To exercise a right, email us. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website may use technologies that are necessary for operation, security and user preferences. If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising cookies, we will provide appropriate information and choices before using them where consent is required. Third-party services you choose to open may set their own cookies under their policies.

9. Security

We use proportionate organisational and technical measures designed to protect personal data, including access controls and secure service providers. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our services are intended for organisations and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this website.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The effective date above shows when it was last revised.
